The organization announced today that Heroic has acquired MIBR's spot as a BLAST Premier partnered team. The move sees Heroic Heroic become part of the BLAST circuit, receiving invites to their group stages.

According to BLAST, Immortals Gaming Club, MIBR's parent company, recently decided to put its partner spot up for sale. This led to a bidding war between several high-profile organizations, with Heroic eventually coming up on top.

Heroic will now become partnered with both ESL and BLAST. The Norwegian organization will enter ESL's Louvre agreement later this year after acquiring a spot in late 2021.

“We’re delighted to welcome on board Heroic, they’ve proven through their performances on the server over the last few years, that they belong alongside the world’s elite of Counter-Strike. Their impressive showing at last year’s Fall Final in Copenhagen highlights what they will add to our tournaments."
Charlotte Kenny, Managing Director of BLAST Premier
MIBR has been partnered since the program's inception in 2020 but has struggled to make an impact in the seasons they played. They managed to take down NAVI in the most recent Spring season but failed to secure a spot in the Finals.
