Upper Bracket Recap

Acend won 13-4 on Bind, but FPX showed that they belonged on Icebox, taking a massive lead and holding on for the win.

On Haven, it was Acend that was the better team, taking a 13-7 win.

FNATIC came from behind to win a close 13-11 on Guild's map pick of Ascent. Like FPX, Guild came back and won Icebox, bringing it to Haven for a third map.

Guild pulled off the upset on Haven, sending FNATIC to face G2 in the lower bracket.

Lower Bracket Recap

It was a back-and-forth map one of Haven between Liquid and FPX, but the latter ended up taking the map in the end.

On Ascent, FPX surprised everyone by taking out Liquid on, what many consider to be, Liquids best map. They sent the EMEA Masters 2 representative home, 2-0.

G2 was able to secure Icebox against FNATIC, who lost the same map to Guild earlier in the day.

The two well-matched teams went deep into overtime on Haven, but it was G2 that took home the win after 32 rounds of play: 17-15
